Privacy policy
This policy is short because we process very little. Documents you anonymize never leave your device. What we do process is listed below in full.

1. Controller
The controller responsible for this website (unformation.app) is Göktuğ Yurt, an individual based in Türkiye. Contact: yurtgoktug@gmail.com.
2. Your documents
Files and text you anonymize are processed only inside your web browser, in a background thread on your device. They are not uploaded, transmitted, logged or stored by us, the site has no endpoint that could receive them. The same applies to the review list, the anonymized output and the mapping table.
Because your documents never reach us, we do not act as a processor or controller for their contents. You remain responsible for what you subsequently share with an AI provider or anyone else.
3. Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It is cookieless and aggregated. According to Vercel's documentation it processes the page URL, referrer, coarse device information (browser, operating system, screen category) and coarse geography derived from the IP address; a short-lived hashed identifier is used to count a visit and is not stored long-term. Neither the analytics script nor Vercel receive your documents.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). For details see Vercel's privacy documentation.
4. Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Like any web host, Vercel processes connection data (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) in server logs to deliver the site and defend against abuse. Vercel participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and offers standard contractual clauses.
5. Optional model download
If you enable smart detection, your browser downloads the model files once from the Hugging Face Hub (huggingface.co and its CDN hf.co). Hugging Face's servers see your IP address and the request, as with any download. No document data is included in that request. The files are then cached in your browser; further runs make no request. If you never enable it, no request is made to Hugging Face.
6. Storage on your device
The site stores the following in your browser and nowhere else:
- localStorage “unf.dictionary.v1”: your replacement dictionary.
- localStorage “unf.notice.v1”: a flag that hides the first-visit note.
- Cache Storage: the app shell for offline use and, if enabled, the model files.
You can remove all of it at any time by clearing site data in your browser. We set no cookies, first- or third-party.
7. No accounts, no email lists
There is no registration, login or newsletter. If you email us, we use your address only to reply and keep the conversation for as long as it is needed.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and, for persons in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you have the right to:
- learn whether personal data about you is processed and request access to it;
- request correction of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
- request erasure or restriction of processing, where the legal conditions are met;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability, where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Türkiye: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK; in the EU: your local authority).
Since we hold no personal data beyond aggregated analytics and email correspondence, most requests can be answered immediately. Write to yurtgoktug@gmail.com.
9. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and knowingly collects no data from them; in practice it collects no personal data from anyone through the tool.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date and noted in the changelog. Changes that would introduce any transmission of documents will not happen; that would be a different product.
